On the Move with Urban Cartel Salon 
 
Hair was career change for him, a natural move to become a Hair Stylist. He worked at Yahoo, but something just didn’t seem quite right. Bill Faught was craving something else. Challenged with his need to be creative and ability to work with people, Faught opened the doors of Urban Cartel Salon. From the onset, he knew the recipe for ambiance. He knew his salon was veering away from the trendy, typical dance music playing, latte drinking, and fashion show of an experience.  
 
From college students to professionals seeking to avoid a stuffy salon, Urban Cartel is anything but... Faught notes, “In the past, people would just like to come and hang around, even if they weren’t getting a haircut…it’s that kind of environment.. very laid back.” If a great cut isn’t enough, beer is often the next place to start…as he offers it to clients for that overall relaxed experience …but don’t order Miller light! 
 
Weeks into his new digs, the salon moved to be more centrally located to his client base but, also wanting to locate to a more urban center on Oak Lawn.
